I want my clients to love their homes. My fervor for design stems from knowing the impact design can have on people’s lives.
Everyone is entitled to come home to the best space within their means. No one should live in an uninspiring space. A home should not leave anyone feeling trapped, but be a renewing source of energy and comfort.
I encourage clients to try something new. Roll up their sleeves and get into the action. They are always surprised at how capable they really are. I love working along side clients who want a hands-on experience as well as those who hire it completely done.
Income varies from household to household, but everyone wants the most value for their dollar. My motto is, “Don’t overspend to uptrend.” You can take it slow or have it all done at once. The choice is yours.
Uptrending means taking all or part of a room and dramatically altering it. You can implement a complete redesign or break it down into components: add those built-in bookcases or the window seat you’ve always wanted, get rid of the drab drapes for new ones that spice up your space, reupholster that chair you‘ve hidden in the basement for years.
Make a change that enhances your life. While preferable to uptrend a room all at once, it’s not the only route for attaining the final goal. One uptrend leads to another and before you know it the entire room (or house) will have transformed into the space you’ve always imagined.
