Thank you for visiting CraigBruceDesign.com. I hope you have a better understanding about me and my designs. I want to help you achieve your design dreams, and I provide many ways in which we can work together. My ultimate objective is to provide a great experience while reaching your goals, whether it’s redoing an individual piece of furniture, re-doing a room or your whole home.
Following 3 easy steps allows us to become better acquainted and informs me how I can best help you!
STEP 1- Initial Consultation Process & Fees
I am happy to speak with you to discuss in detail what you are wanting to accomplish. You are welcome to call me direct or email your thoughts. We can speak directly by phone at 519.300.0056 or through email at craig@craigbrucedesign.com
Once hearing from you I can better determine the scope of the project and determine if you need just advice or an on site visit. Once I know your needs, then I provide a quote for getting your job completed.
- If your project needs only advice, then I provide comments and/or drawings based on our discussion(s) and your submitted photo(s). I will quote you an hourly rate so that you can have all the steps necessary to get started on your own project.
- If your project requires an on site visit, to determine the scope of your project, then I will take the following steps;
CraigBruceDesign.com will arrive on site of space(s) designated for redesign to obtain measurements, take photos and gather & assess client information regarding space(s). The initial consultation serves only as a means to procure essential information for future design plans to be provided by CraigBruceDesign.com. No design plans or ideas for the space will be provided by CraigBruceDesign.com during initial consultation.
Here are my Initial Consultation Fees:
Over the phone/email correspondence can be quoted based on the size of the job and time required.
On Site Consultation is as follows-
Out of Area Clients - For clients outside a 30 mile radius, milage will be charged on top of the $100 consultation fee which is applicable to final contract.
Note: All initial consultation fees are non-refundable should the client decide not to retain the services of CraigBruceDesign.com
STEP 2 - Presentation of Design Plans
If you are an Over The Phone/Email Correspondence Client then I will present your design(s) by email and personally confirm with you that you have received your final proofs with which to use for your project.
If you are an On Site Consultation Client then I will meet in person with you to present design plan(s). You have three primary (3) options after presentation:
Option 1: Retain Services of CraigBruceDesign.com.
The client and CraigBruceDesign.com enter into a contactual agreement authorizing CraigBruceDesign.com to act as project manager. At that time the client purchases the design plans. The purchase amount is deducted from the retainer check provided by the client for one-third (1/3) of the projected budget.
Note: The client or CraigBruceDesign.com may terminate this contract at any time during the design project. At the time of termination the client is responsible for settling all unpaid balances, exceeding the retainer amount, owed to CraigBruceDesign.com for labor and purchases for the design project.
Option 2: Choose to not contract the services of CraigBruceDesign.com.
A client choosing not to impliment or carry forward with the design plans presented by CraigBruceDesign.com may end the working relationship without any future obligations. Any client choosing not to use the design plans of CraigBruceDesign.com forfiets the consultation fees as compensation for the labor and time of CraigBruceDesign.com.
Option 3: Purchase the Design Plans of CraigBruceDesign.com
Clients wishing only to purchase the design plans of CraigBruceDesign.com, and not retain CraigBruceDesign.com as the project mananger are able to do so. CraigBruceDesign.com will sell all rights to any design plans for a mutually agreed upon price.
Step 3 – Working Contractually with CraigBruceDesign.com
The client retains the services of CraigBruceDesign.com by a payment of one third (1/3) of the total projected budget. The client and CraigBruceDesign.com then enter a contractual agreement by signing paperwork.
By signing the design plans, the client approves the plans of CraigBruceDesign.com as shown on the paperwork and gives permission to immediately proceed forward with the project. Any future changes to the original plans will be at an addition cost to the client and paid upfront at the time the changes are agreed upon by the client and CraigBruceDesign.com.
As the inital one third retainer fee reaches depletion, it is the responsibility of CraigBruceDesign.com to notify the client that a second installation of one third (1/3) will be required to continue working.
CraigBruceDesign.com assumes no responsiblity or liablity for work, behavior or results of any company utilized to complete the design project.
The final one third (1/3) payment is due upon completion of the design project.
It is the policy of CraigBruceDesign.com to not extend credit to clients. All items purchased for the design project must be paid for from the client’s retainers or personal accounts.
